Description
Trap Tracker allows fishers to virtually mark their trap and trawl lines on a chart, upload to a cloud database, and record position, trap quantity and catch quantity.
The Trap Tracker control app allows fishers to control the EdgeTech 5112 On-Demand Ropeless Fishing System. The app connects via Bluetooth® wireless technology to the BLEAT (Bluetooth Low Energy Acoustic Transceiver) which sends commands and receives status information from the underwater unit. The app can also connect via Bluetooth® wireless technology to EdgeTech's underwater unit Model 5145.
Trap Tracker virtually marks trap and trawl lines, records the positions and catch information and uploads it to a cloud database to help other fishers and law enforcement know where traps are located, just as they would if there was a buoy floating at the surface.
