Description

Winemapp (word pun from wine, map and app) is the app that was missing from the wine-lover!
This app in the basic version shows you the map with the wineries around you.
The in-app purchase 'DOP of Italian wines' allows you to explore all the DOP of Italian wines through an interactive map with which to discover areas of production of wines, types and vines (ampelographic base), as defined in the production specifications.
Wherever you are in Italy you can find out which local wine to drink and which wineries to visit.
The app is able to geolocate you and give you information on the DOP of the area where you are.
It is also possible to search by DOCG, DOC, grape variety, type and municipality, also by clicking on the map.
This app is the ideal tool for studying the denominations, for aspiring sommeliers and for those who prepare presentations on the wine-growing areas for teaching, tastings or conferences.
Once you have chosen a DOP, the app colors all the municipalities in which the wine is produced on the map so you can easily identify the entire production area of a DOC / DOCG and know its details.
Finally, you can keep track of the wines tasted by writing your notes on the DOP.
If you are a producer you can register your winery through in-app purchase to be found by wine-tourists.
By purchasing 'My cellar' in-app, you can access a digital archive to manage the wines of your cellar where you can insert the bottles you have in the cellar and write down when you drink them.
This app is very useful for travel enthusiasts, gourmets, wine shops, operators in the Horeca sector and all those who love going to wineries or tasting wines at home.
