The Quran is the Muslim’s holy book; devoted Muslims read the Quran every day.

“Quran Bookmark” is a bookmark mobile app designed specifically to bookmark the holy Quran. It is used to store the reader's place in the Quran where he/she last read; it is created to replace pen and paper which is normally used to record last page read. They have to carry the pen and paper with them everywhere they go, at home, the Mosque or other place where they might have time to read the Quran again. That is the old way. Now you don’t have to carry anything other than your smart phone. The application will do the job instead; it is simple, easy to use with one click.

After reading your daily Quran chore, or at any time, you enter the last page number you read in the green text box and click the “Save page number” button, the application will store your entry and display the number in the adjacent label. It’s that easy! The page number will be displayed next time you open the App to continue reading the holy Quran.

The application evaluates the text field for three conditions and will issue an alert accordingly, if the text field is empty, if you enter a zero or if the page number exceeds 604 (Because that’s the total number of the standard printed Quran nowadays).

A pro version of the application is in the development and will be published soon, it will have additional features to help the reader and provide incentives for completion of reading the Quran. Enjoy using Quran Bookmark and let me know your feedback to make it better.
