Sense Relief App™ uses acupressure to quickly and effectively relieve your nausea and vomiting associated with morning sickness and motion sickness. The acupressure is delivered through the Apple Watch’s Taptic Engine and Sense Relief’s nerve stimulation technology. The App applies pulsating acupressure on the underside of the user’s inner wrist, to stimulate the P6, or Nei-Kuan, nerve acupoint.

FEATURES:
- Easy To Use Nausea Relief Anytime With Your Apple Watch
- Drug-Free Relief From Morning Sickness and Motion Sickness
- Auto Mode Eases Symptoms Automatically Every 20 Minutes

Acupressure is generally considered to be a safe and effective way to relieve symptoms of nausea, without the use of prescription drugs or invasive techniques. It has been shown to be effective in 16 randomized controlled clinical trials.

The Sense Relief App™ was designed to put you in control of your symptoms of nauseousness. It takes you just a couple of taps to get the App started, and works anywhere, anytime, no matter what you are doing. If you are busy driving, working, or just want to close your eyes and relax, you can activate the App and keep going. Or you can use the App’s Auto Mode to deliver acupressure every 20 minutes, for ongoing relief.

DIRECTIONS:
1) Download the Sense Relief App™
2) Allow App to install on your Apple Watch
3) Silence your Apple Watch so it won’t make noise while in operation
4) Locate the P6 Nerve on your inner wrist (Left or Right Wrist)
5) Turn Apple Watch over so the charging pad is pressed firmly on the P6 nerve in your wrist
6) Pull the strap comfortably tight
7) Start the Sense Relief acupressure therapy
8) It will run for 3 minutes, or you can stop it at any time
9) Auto Mode runs the App every 20 minutes for regular nausea relief*
10) Go about your day as usual, working, driving, walking, etc.

*Keep your watch in the same position at all times if you are using the Auto Mode.

The Sense Relief App™ may be suitable for you if you are suffering from pregnancy-related nausea and vomiting, known as morning sickness, (PRNV), motion sickness, virtual reality (VR) related nausea, or any feelings of vomiting, queasiness, or retching. Studies have found that up to 75% of patients treated with P6 acupressure gained relief from morning sickness symptoms.

App Crashing, Fixed by Deleting and Reinstalling

When I first downloaded the app I was really hopeful that it would help with my morning sickness. Upon trying it out, I pressed start and the app would instantly force close.
I tried restarting my watch and that didn’t help. Then I deleted the app and reinstalled it.
Now it works!

Thanks for sticking with it.

THIS IS A LIFE SAVER!!!!

i have hyperemesis gravidarum. i am super sick all the time with my pregnancy. i’m in and out of the hospital all the time and it has taken over my life. i downloaded this app because i was desperate to find anything that worked and it has helped so much. it doesn’t take away all the nausea all the time but i have not been sick in two days and that’s amazing.

Haven’t used yet - just initial impressions

Just testing out the installation. The app crashes silently on watch. The instructions should tell you that it requires you to enable, at minimum, heart rate sharing in the “Health” app for the Sense Relief app to work.

The app is very simplistic once you get it working. I’m curious to see if this will work when I get motion sick.

Will send a new review or update review when I have a chance to test it.

Additional concerns, the app has not been updated in at least a year based on the last release information. A little concerned with longevity of this particular app as it doesn’t seem to be actively supported.
