disregarding the language barrier, once you figure out what each button does it’s a really good AR camera view. the models are top notch (though there is clipping whenever they do an action such as sitting down). the placement of the model is interesting - you find a flat surface and place the camera directly over it and pull away until you see dots appear and the activate button will turn blue. the facial expressions available are very basic, and the poses they can do are also limited. however, considering the core of the app - the vtuber model existing in AR, it’s very solid.

A new review. Previously, I mentioned that I hope we can manipulate the models by our finger so we can give them customs poses. That is unfortunately not implemented yet. But if it does, I hope it will be much more user friendly than MMD.

Next, the clipping issues. These are still present. Hope these can be fixed.

Thirdly, the model size changes. The current 2.4.0 version fails to allow model resizing.

Fourth, the shop (ショップ) feature. It does not work. Stuck on loading screen. I hope this will be fixed soon.

That’s all the criticisms so far.

I’ve been a frequent user of this app for about a year now, and I’ve loved using it. Seeing a new update got me excited, and I was looking forward to using it with my favorite Hololive girl, Tokoyami Towa. Unfortunately, I ran into problems with loading her model. The app will get stuck at the “Now Loading” screen when her model is selected, and it will not get to the main menu at all if she was selected the last time the app was open.

I should note that it seems like the other models open up just fine, and I haven’t run into issues with them. It seems like only Towa’s model doesn’t work.
