I love this app.

Octo is a addictive app where you can play games for real prizes. Some of the games included are Flappy Octo, Octo Hoop, and Octo Ninja. I recently saved enough points to be able to redeem a 20$ steam gift card. I was able to get this really quick as I got a good 75% win rate in flappy octo. The trick to win more is your timing and to go as low as possible on the obstacle so you don’t hit the top of the obstacle. If you time it too early or too late, you’ll mess up.

Seems Promising

App seems alright, will definitely take you a long time to get any good rewards and their selection isn't too big (bunch of lenovo products and a few gift cards at different $$$). Needs a much wider game selection (May be a bit bias here but consider adding games like Counter Strike : Global Offensive, League of Legends, Valorant, osu! and a lot more). Heck, if they implemented a system where you could 2v2, 3v3, 4v4, or 5v5 with friends against other teams for prizes that would make this app my #1 favorite. All in all I'm personally okay with the reward selection as it has all of what I want but in general for others they need a little more and definitely more games. As stated earlier, if I see games like League of Legends and CSGO added I would use this app daily and promote it to my death because it seems really promising. Will keep the app on my phone but not use it until I see a game selection update (If it ever happens).

The games are generally pretty fun but nearly every time I play a game, it will get so incredibly laggy to the point where I’m forced to lose a game. Not sure what the game architecture is built for but I’m on very strong wifi & an iPhone 11.

When I’m wagering to play but am forced to lose because my game lags out, I shouldn’t be losing what I’m putting at stake in the wager. I can be playing for 3-5 seconds and then I can no longer do anything besides close my app - why would I want to wager my coins if this is the case?

Will check back in after a few updates in the next month to see if I can actually compete without the app failing me. If it doesn’t get fixed, Octo should be refunding people’s wagers when their game entirely lags out.
