Ratings and Reviews
See AllIs Kenwood stupid?
I can’t imagine a major electronics company puts out this garbage. It appears as if it was made as a joke/ grade school project.
I wasted over $1500 on a Kenwood DMX 1037 stereo because one of the things I thought it could do (which they said it would do) is mirroring from an iPhone. SEVERAL HOURS during the past six months trying to get this to mirror it doesn’t. I finally called Kenwood today to ask them another question and then I asked him how do I mirror the iPhone. The representative said that they never said you can wirelessly mirror iPhone to my unit. I then read him the official page from the Kenwood instruction manual on how to mirror. He said the only way to mirror is with the cable I think he said a CVA3 cable and attach that to some kind of “Isimple” cable and then I attach that to an HDMI cable that goes to my iPhone. I told him I never even read any of that on the Internet when searching for the solution to this problem. He said I would not find it on the Internet and that is why he’s telling me. What a joke! This Kenwood unit is garbage , this app is garbage, … do not buy anything from Kenwood.
Hot Garbage
Bought a Kenwood car stereo that advertised itself as having the screen mirroring feature. The only caveat is that you had to download this app to make it work. The one big problem with that is that this app straight up doesn’t work. I feel like I’ve been lied to, and Kenwood doesn’t appear to care about mine or anybody else’s experience with their faulty products... as seen by the incredibly low rating this app has and the countless low reviews of customers such as myself. Wanna grow broke Kenwood? Cause poor products and non-existent customer service is how you go broke. You’d think a company like Kenwood would know this...
Don’t get it
I cannot fathom why this feature is on my radio - and along with this app - and doesn’t work.
Take that back it has worked 1 time and then after that the only thing you will be watching is the message saying connecting and then make sure the Bluetooth is connected. On a wired USB mirroring. That logic alone is illogical.
The reviews for this are spot on. The low ranking is well earned and if I could give it negative stars so it would be taken off the App Store, I would.
