Hi deer!

To develop LingoDeer Plus, every member of our team has started learning a third (or fourth) language so that we can again put ourselves in your shoes.

With the goal to eliminate painful and tedious drills, we decided to keep every session under 90 seconds and introduce a cute mission with each exercise.

To make sure the content you will practice with is practical and level appropriate, we handpicked culture-specific vocabulary and crafted sentences that are also relevant to the exams you guys are preparing for.

Our mission is to help language learners like you progress efficiently and happily anywhere and anytime by using our original, pedagogically sound content in the most fun format possible.

Love it

As an INTP, I usually struggle to study in the normal way because I need visuals to link words to memory and various ways to approach subjects. The variation of learning tools and games really helps me enjoy the learning process.(Ti+Ne👍)

Kind of not fond of the timer because I can't even read my native language fast enough to process a question (in part because I over think and like to double check) it's a personal challenge that I believe I'll get better at and some games don't have a timer which is a nice break.

Having the timed games is a good way to get an idea on what you should go back to in the main app and it's a good motivation to do so to meet your daily challenges. There is no way to not improve. I would like to see some more learning options for learning context of certain words.

Through another language learning program I have learned context that helps me memorize. Such as 서과 mean apple but also apology. Some Koreans give apples as an apology as a play on words (in a playful way) but also you don't want to say sorry if you didn't do the thing to cause misfortune because it means you accept the responsibility. This extra context can be helpful as trivia games or even fun little tidbits.

Hope this would be helpful and they can add something like that but I have a lot of fun as is. 🤍

Even Worth It In the Free Version

I’m a pseudopolyglot (just made up that word) and I’ve been needing for the longest to better hone my grammar and conversational skills and this app is definitely helping me achieve that. I know over 1000 words in multiple languages but that doesn’t help if you can’t properly use them. This app is definitely assisting me in reaching my goal of true-fluency. The app has a paid version that will allow you to skip lessons and access all languages, but if you’re patient the free version allows you to challenge yourself step by step and get through a full course even without you paying for it. Not all sequels are good, but man this one supersedes original LingoDeer app. It’s very much so up there with Duolingo. Thank you and congratulations to the developers. Your hard work is much appreciated and it’s not going unnoticed.

Can we label the levels??

It touts itself as a language review app. It has a few games and different levels of the games which are good. Doesn’t have the versatility of the mind snacks language game that I had bought for five dollars and now is no longer supported by the phones. My main complaint with it is that it labels every level by a level number but that makes it very hard to go back and review some things such as types of rooms, colors, automobiles, etc. i’m writing this review in hopes that they’ll adjust this so that either individuals can label the levels to make certain topics easier to find or they will do so themselves so that you can see what clump of words is covered by each level making it easier to review. I don’t want to have to go digging through all the levels to find the one set of verbs that I want to refresh my memory on. This should be something that’s already set up for ease-of-use in a language review app.
