Description

* INCLUSIVE * PRIVATE * NO ADS *

Period app is designed for people who bleed and those who don't.

We don't collect any personal data. We don't even ask you to create an account. Your data is private. It stays on your phone, in your pocket or purse.

We offer an optional subscription service using Sign in with Apple if you want to store your data to our secure cloud and sync it across devices, which is great should anything happen to your iPhone or iPad.

Use Period to track all the things: menstrual flow, cycle length, tampon, pad, cup, discharge, feeling, physical (including cramps and hot flash), sex & libido, hormone (estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone), temperature, weight, test (either ovulation or pregnancy), pill, ring, patch, IUD, birth control implant, and injection. You can even take notes.

Create your own entry types and track whatever you want when you subscribe. You name it and choose an icon. Both custom and basic entry types also come with a notes field so you can add all the details you want. Subscriptions are $8.99/year with a 7-day free trial.

Period is integrated with the Apple Health app. Connecting to Apple Health allows you to import period and related data into Period, and vice versa. It's a great way to get the most out of both apps.

Set up reminders to change your tampon, take a daily pill, remember your hormones--whatever you want. You can also set reminders when you're expecting to ovulate or welcome your next period. Hello!

Add widgets to your Home screen to see when your period is due, get reminders, see a 2-week calendar, or just know how many days you are into your cycle.

Choose to direct message with friends and family, and if you're so inclined automatically alert them when you start your period. Why not find out if y'all are cycling together?

Use Period to:

* track physical and emotional changes

* remember to take pills, replace patches--anything you want

* figure out when your period will show up next

* determine how regular your periods are

* recognize if your periods are on the heavy side

* track a contraceptive ring like Nuva Ring, a birth control pill, or a patch

* monitor your basal body temperature, discharge, or LH to know when you're ovulating

* find patterns so you can know yourself better

We also support Dark Mode if that's your thing.

To make it easy to get started, you can import a .csv file. You can also export all your data because, well, it's your data.

Period app is easy to try--no account needed.

Give it a go!

absolutely perfect

This is the period tracker app for ME! Streamlined, minimal, and only tracks the thing I actually care about—my period (as well as other cool things that might be important for other folks, like a variety of birth control options). I love that this app doesn’t have a million things going on, like articles and community pages and quizzes and endless pages to scroll through. I love that my data is protected and that I can export it at any time I choose, and I really love the color choices (ie more than just pink or red) for tracking my cycle. I especially want to say that, if you identify on the LGBTQ+ spectrum and you’re just trying to track your period, this app is inclusive, accessible, and will not constantly bombard you with heteronormativity or gendered labels. It’s just a menstruation tracker for people who menstruate, and it’s just what I wanted (and needed)!

Thank you so much for the kind review! It's so rewarding to read! We do try really hard to make an inclusive experience that doesn't assume a whole lot. Thank you for supporting us!

Simple, Inclusive. You hardly need more!

Short and sweet review, the simplicity and responsiveness is great. Putting in past period to get the predictions started is simple enough. Adding entries of physical changes or meds or whatever is straightforward. No need to go searching far or in some hidden categories for info or changing things you already set.

I would like one thing though, if you could select multiple days to edit or, preferably, when you go to add an entry (particularly dates in the past,) just be able to swipe left or right on top of the date or something to just move on that day and quickly input the period info for that day. It would make putting past periods in quicker and simpler than tapping and/or selecting date, inputting data, exiting, tapping on different day, inputting data.... repeatedly 3 or more times depending on how long your period was and how late your remembered to do it.
I'm forgetful personally with logging sort of thing so it just would be so helpful. Hope that makes sense! Love this app so far, thank you for being inclusive.

Great potential

I’ve been using this app for a little over a week and have been pleased so far. I look for four things when trying out a new period tracking app: No selling my data, no ads, a simple, easy to use UI, and customizable notes. I’m in my 30’s and don’t need all the help articles about periods and women’s health that come with other apps these days. I just need a place to track my cycle and jot down some notes about whatever is going on, and this app may be the winner. I like being able to export my data and delete it if I want as well.

Some things I would love to see added are cycle exclusions (for those of us with irregular periods) and/or an option to note pregnancy. That year and a half I wasn’t having a period because I was pregnant and then breastfeeding is really messing up my cycle averages on the app 😂. An Apple Watch complication would also be really nice.

Overall very happy with this app!

We hear you! Cycle exclusions are next up! Keep the feedback coming. 😊
