Description
Mission Control is a community platform for recreational gamers. On Mission Control, players can create their own gaming communities, organize esports activities, and gather with friends while they game. Mission Control makes it easy for communities to host recreational activities, just like traditional recreational sports leagues or tournaments, but with their favorite video games. On the other hand, players use Mission Control to register for esports activities, manage their gaming schedules, and squad up with friends to win.
In addition to commissioner communities hosted by players, Mission Control is used by organizations across the United States to host their recreational esports communities, including parks & recreation departments like the City of Las Vegas, college recreation departments like the University of Kentucky, various brands like Cinemark, and more. Players utilize the Mission Control app for the following features:
COMMUNITY
- Discover communities hosting recreational esports activities, like leagues and tournaments of your favorite games, or create and build your own
- Register for esports activities, manage your schedule, play against opponents, and do your best to win bragging rights and more
SQUADS
- Gather your friends and create your very own esports team. Use Mission Control Squads to chat and organize as your prepare to play.
PLAY
- Keep track of all your activities across your various communities, communicate with organizers and opponents, and always know where you stand
SCHEDULE
- Keep straight when your next match is and easily manage the discussion, timing, and scoring when you play
PROFILE
- Make a name for yourself while you create your own gaming profile and identity across all games and platforms

Astro, the Mission Control Mascot, has been busy fixing bugs related to tournaments and team invites. Adjustments have also been made to the play screen.

Great app with minimal bugs
This app is amazing no doubt but there are a couple graphical bugs with the chat. Otherwise, the app was amazing and our league went on without a problem. Also, amazing support. We needed to post pone a match and a staff member got back to us in about 7 minutes. That’s fast!

Really really bad
This app looks really good like it’s clean looking and I appreciate the idea of it but there are so many problems with it. First off I had to scroll through every possible league on the app to get to my college’s page (why is there no drop down or search bar?) Then, when trying to message the person I was supposed to play against, I accidentally messaged the entire league. When the picture at the top of a page is the matchup I’m in, I’m expecting the send a message feature to send a message to my opponent. Not the entire league. Third, when opening the messages, all of the names get screwed up. Messages that I sent are labeled as sent by other people until the app catches up and updates who actually sent the message. Also adding reminders before game times would be extremely helpful. Hope this app can improve because it ruined intramurals for me this season :(

It’s good, but I have an issue
I love this app and it helps me connect with others with the same likes in games and I love to compete with my skill against others, however, nowadays when I enter the app, leagues and organizations are closed and offline as if they were recently made. I can’t participate, nor I can find any organization to join. If anyone has a clarification on why organizations and leagues are disabled (like it there is a system update or a long break is going on) someone please respond, I want to go and compete with others to further expand my skills within gaming. Thank you
