Description

C.ARP is a totally different keyboard. Inspired by old omnichords it lets you play chords and melodies as well. Its design makes everything easier for a musician who just wants to play on mobile. Just hold on a button and then swipe or tap on the right section. But if you prefer, you can access chords and notes directly on the notes grid. Pitch them, harmonize, use mod wheel and apply real-time audio effects too. Rhythm section follows you every chord you choose: pick up the style you prefer, adjust BPMs, mute other instrument, change different midi settings, change drums and play them with drum pads. Do arpeggios with different sounds and rhythmic fractions, create different sound environments with delay, reverb and rotation. Record your voice or everything else as a sample, adjust its length, reverse or loop it, make chords and melodies with it and explore other cool features on this 4th version. There's also a tutorial inside!

Thanks to everyone who helped me: Giacomo, Virginia, Mattia, Andrea, Giulia, Cristiano, and the others.
Thanks to the masters Suriani, Frankie and Calcutta.

Version 4.40

*FIXES*

After sooo much time finally a fix.

Record button has been restored. And also the "mic" button.
(Almost forgot how cool it was for a songwriter.)
Here is how you should use it:

For "normal" recording:
Open the panel and just press the "REC" button, wait 3 seconds (you'll se a little countdown) and you can start play. When you're done, open the panel again
and click on it another time (the REC button). Now you can listen back to it (in loop) and SAVE it (the yellow and the blue button).
*When you're saving it, you can decide to send it directly to someone else or store it.

For "MIC" button:
To add your vocals you have to PLUG IN the earphones AFTER the app has opened. Ye, little weird I know.
Now you can open the panel and click on MIC (in the bottom-right). You should hear your voice back in the earphones.
(If it does not work, unplug and plug them back again until you see MIC button keeps in selected position).
If it is working you can use as it is (to rehearse or wherever) or record it over your playing.

Thanks again for your appreciation over the months.

Amazing Design!!

This is such a darling little synthesizer, I am in love with all the dreamy little sounds it makes. I thought the controls were confusing at first but after reading the tutorial and using them for a few minutes I was able to really quickly get the hang of it and it feels super intuitive now and easy to access as Im playing. The only thing I could want from this is a way to switch from seeing the standard plectrum to one where I can visually distinguish each individual “button” so I could play them individually a bit easier if I wanted, but its amazing either way :)!

Developer Response ,

🙏🏻❤️ thank you so much for such kind words! And about the buttons.. all right, next update!

A blast to just make chill jams with.

When I heard a Suzuki Omnichord in a few songs I went nearly mad trying to find ways to recreate the sound in GarageBand. This app hits that vibe right out the box and even does (in my opinion) a better guitar than in GarageBand.

Honestly, the one feature I would love to see is support in GarageBand so I could easily slot this perfect instrument into my workflow. For now I have to use an app called Polychord, which while nice, doesn’t scratch that omnichord itch like this app.

Thank you man, really appreciate. ✨💘

Best app Ever!! - Only one thing I dislike

Ever since ive heard the sound of an omnichord i loved it and knew i wanted one to get those amazing sounds and tomes, I was dissapointed to find how expensive they were. This app is so much fun and only 5$ especially for musicians. This is a really underrated tool for musicians to use it can really inspire you to make make cool music and add a whole new dimension to your music. 5 stars AMAZING !!!!

Feedback to developers:

The only thing i dislike is that when you turn on auto-chord and hold on, the E chord is an extremely low octave and sounds muddled, and on the official app trailer it shows a large E on the notes grid but on the app it apears much smaller. I would love to have the E chord an octave up or so, at least an option to do so.
I thank any developers who take the time to read or fix this. Thank you!!

I love ur app!!
