Would give 5 stars but no help from developer

I loved this game but after completing it, I tried to figure out what to do with all 18 notes I collected throughout the game. Each note has a symbol similar to the rotating doorway shown in the game’s opening scene. However, I can’t figure out what to do with the notes/symbols. I reached out to the developer to see if there is a secret level or what these notes/symbols mean but got no response. Feel like the game is incomplete with no way to find out what the notes/symbols have to do with anything. Would definitely change to 5 stars if I could get any response from the developer whatsoever.

Update: Finally heard from developer and symbols on notes do nothing. Good to know, upping my review to 5 stars!

Developer Response ,

Hi there,

Did you try to e-mail us at info@snapbreak.com ? This is the e-mail for support. Right now there is no secret level when unlocking all those. It is just signs that represent each level.

Kind regards,
Snapbreak

Where’s the beef?

UPDATE 1/1/20: Where are all the paid levels I thought I was buying? I love this game, originally gave it 5 stars, and thought it was one of the best I’ve played, but had to lower my rating a little after paying for more levels. I discovered it was just a few more levels and played most of them in about 30 minutes. Then, when I returned to play the rest, I couldn’t figure out which ones had already been completed and had to open each level to see if it looked familiar. Maybe they mark the levels that you already played, but I couldn’t find an indicator. I still think it’s an excellent game, but the paid levels really need to be longer.

ORIGINAL 5-STAR RATING (with revisions): I almost never give 5-star ratings. This game joins the ranks of The Room, The Birdcage, Da Vinci, and a few others. Great graphics, creative, original and clever design, music that’s not annoying; it’s challenging, but not so difficult that gameplay slows down and gets boring. (It’s an art form to design a well-paced game that sustains interest.) There is a logical sequence to the gameplay, so if you have good reasoning kills, you don’t need hints. The free levels are enough to pique your interest, leave you wanting more, and they don’t have so many ads that you can’t focus on evaluating the game. Additional levels are appropriately priced. I’m going to pay for more because IT’S A WINNER!

Developer Response ,

Thank you so much!

Reply on updated review: There are plans to add more levels, but we never promise anything until it is actually released.

Kind regards,

Fantastic Thrill

This is an incredibly interesting, unique, and well-designed game. I’ve been playing “Murder in the Alps” and was sad not to find another game similar — then I stumbled across this one. This gives me the same thrill of problem solving and looking for clues, and it’s gorgeous fairytale style doors create a beautiful atmosphere to boot.

Update: if I were to inquire about anything, it would just be wondering if we could get more backstory on the creepy child we’re following? Love the game level by level, but not sure what I’m doing/a part of overall.
