Good app, could be better

I love being able to read the Bulletin anywhere, anytime. I wish that when I click on an article wherever I am reading it (on its first page or if it is continued on another page) that the entire article would be enlarged rather than just that page’s portion of the article.

Review

I appreciate the newspaper being on line. And that the ability or teck improvement of the form allows this 80 yr old man to — each time you make an another step forward ..... makes it easier for me to use this form. I taught school in Tumalo for 30 years . Love my community, I am conservative voting for both democratic and Republican local and national leaders. I like the facts written- not slanted right or left due to the majority of political parties made up by residents . I believe in socialism and have seen it work in Canada when I retired and my wife and I were on a 2 yr service mission in the ghetto of Winnipeg, Canada on behalf of the Mormon Church. We taught English as 2nd language to immigrants . We also taught free organ and piano lessons. All done in the Cultural tradition at our own expense. We also have organized and lead A.A. Groups in Bend, Redmond, Prineville and Madras. We are so sad to serve extremists who are politically right or left invade all levels of society and organizations in Central Oregon. We moved here in 1967. Bend was homogenous due to being a mill small town . Yet we like the rest of American were open and tolerating of all social differences. Let our newspaper give the facts and encourage us to serve one another . Dennis Heap

App pretty terrible on iPad mini

Recent “updates” have made this app much worse on my iPad mini. It makes me log out and back in daily because I’ve read all my free stories for the month. I’m a subscriber! It still acts like I’m logged in, yet gives me this message and hides content. Today, the “pages” function in the eEdition won’t display. It randomly refreshes the eEdition and shrinks what I was reading. Swiping pages is harder than on the old app. When I click to open a story, graphics may block part of the article. I must close the app daily or it freezes (maybe the last update fixed this, but now I’m trained to close it). It sometimes won’t open a story from eEdition by tapping it.
