President Bear ,

Attractive and fun random Wikipedia reader

Came across a recommendation on Twitter and tried this. It’s a very nice-looking app and does exactly what it says it does. I was expecting an onboarding experience or a gesture to get me to settings, but there’s none of that (tip: settings are in the Settings app, but there’s nothing you need there: the app automatically respects your system text size setting). Really, all you need to do is scroll.

All that said...infinite, random, Wikipedia isn’t as compelling to me as I expected. The site has so many articles on so many things now that that’s almost overwhelming. I consider myself well-rounded and most articles were about things I had absolutely never heard of. I would really love to use this as a Wikipedia reader that let me search for specific articles, or, failing that, at least let me restrict the subject matter somewhat. But this is more an issue with the concept than the app, so I can’t really ding it for that.

Ghost of Steve Jobs??? :)

I love this app to read randomly while in queue, general waiting, nervous read etc. So easy to use, pop in and out of, and simple (which is the point I think). I used to use wiki native app in the same way that I now use this app. This app does not stress me out, at all.
I feel like this kind of reading experience is what Apple design was meant to be like.

Personally I think the best location to place this app is in the iPhone dock. Just cause that hides the text of “Superhighway” on the Home Screen icon and iPhone seems to shrink the text size on longer app names I think.

Winning Them All ,

SuperHighway....Go in your own direction at your own speed!

This app is like the auricular muscle. Not needed (for the most part) but fun to have! Plethora of information that makes you go “Ha! Interesting!” And who doesn’t like to have tidbits of info that not many people may know???
