Description
The CubeSolver app helps you solve a 3x3 cube in a few easy steps:
- Scan your cube using the device's camera (or input your cube configuration manually).
- The app tries to detects each cubie color from the cube images (it may need a bit of your help along the way).
- After you verify that the detection has been made correctly, you'll get a 3D visualisation of the solving process.
CubeSolver is completely free, it works offline and no account is needed.

Amazing🤩
This is an amazing app, this app does get a bit tricky, but the trick is to pause after every step and to MANUALLY color the blocks when it’s scrambled. This app gives algorithms at the bottom of the screen. And this is also one of the best rated and it deserves it. You do have to be patient with this app though because it seems to go a bit fast. I’m almost twelve and it’s easy enough for me too! So for an adult, this will be an easy, relaxing, amazing app! I LOVE THIS APP!!
Its surprisingly accurate
After a few scans, some editing and close learning, it really makes solving a rubiks cube a breeze! Its honestly surprising how it was able to solve MY rubiks cube in 21 movesets, and i was shocked beyond belief that this was the key to the whole game! This is the easy way out but for anyone who would want to try it on their own, i wish you best of luck, but if you can’t and just give up, this app will be your best friend! Trust the process!!! 💥
It won’t work
So I open the app. Then I choose the camera option. Here’s where problem number one comes in: even when I line up the corners perfectly, they’re always in the wrong place so I have to fix that, then it always gets the colors wrong and when I fix it, it says that it’s not valid and won’t let me past that part. I’ve tried multiple times and it just won’t work and it won’t let me past the color part. I’ve tried the manual color scan. And this app should totally be for 2x2 3x3 and pyraminx. Just so you don’t have to get more than one app. So yeah. I don’t know if it’s my device, or my cube.
