When you get older and it doesn’t come off like it use to , what to do? This is it!!! I have been struggling for years. This takes the guess work out of thinking what to make, how much to eat and will it break my bank to do it? They do everything for you. You just put in your likes and they do the rest. I also love the reminders to eat, drink and benefits they send to you by eating on time or mix it up - don’t eat the same thing in the day. They are really cheering you on and just a text message away with quick response. They know I need it. When I started following what they said and not doing my own thing( I am slow to listen ,lol) the weight is now coming off. 8lbs so far and can’t wait to see the results. I truly feel that I will continue with this . 🌹🌹🌹🌹

The sign up process is incredibly cryptic and finds ways for you to easily sign yourself up for up to 10x the prices of an initial membership without warning until they send you an invoice. I tried to sign up for the $13 per month plan, the app suggested I try fasting and the button simply said “give it a try”. Well that was a $20 per month button undisclosed by the screen insisting I try it. Thereafter Unimeal will not refund you that money even if you immediately contact them about it and explain that you had no intention of agreeing to that additional fee. This is theft by everyone’s definition but their own as they will defend themselves to the bitter end that it’s their money fair and square now. Do not use this app unless you have an extra $300 a month in disposable income because that’s what you’ll ultimately end up paying if you take trust anything that they put forward.

I’m not surprised to find this same complaint on this review page by many other people with the same issue.

Unimeal is a thief and they’ve capitalized on every bit of it. Like a child at a lemonade stand and when a $20 bill falls out of your wallet while grabbing a $1 they grab it and claim it as theirs now. The bright side of the entire ordeal is that this will not be difficult to win in a class action civil lawsuit.

"BEWARE!!! FORCEFUL SALES TECHNIQUE. The app uses forceful sales techniques. I intended to explore the app to lose postpartum weight. After paying for the basic plan, an option to select an additional feature popped up. It required just one click, and my credit card was immediately charged an additional $29. I didn’t even get a chance to discover what the additional feature was about, as the app did not offer a confirmation step for the purchase. To me, this is a very forceful sales technique. I contacted customer service immediately after my card was charged, trying to get a refund and explaining that I did not intend to purchase the additional feature; my goal was merely to explore plans to help me lose postpartum weight. I explained that my life is quite hectic at the moment with a newborn baby, and while weight loss is not a priority, I wanted to explore plans for future use. Not only was my refund request declined, but the customer service representative also advised that I should prioritize my health and make small, consistent improvements on a daily basis now. While her advice might be valid, I consider it an overstep of boundaries. I won’t be using the app at all and will take the $55 loss."
