Description

SF Symbols includes nine weights (ultralight, thin, light, regular, medium, semibold, bold, heavy, black) for each icon and automatic scaling. This means it is easier than ever to include glyphs and icons in your apps which not only look great, but adhere to important accessibility features like Dynamic Type.

San Fransymbols is created to make it easier than ever for you to search for, compare and choose the right symbol from SF Symbols for every situation, with features such as:

+++ SWIFTUI AND UIKIT CODE +++
Automatically generate SwiftUI and UIKit code for every symbol and weight. Copy it to the clipboard in one click to use with apps such as Xcode.

+++ COMPARE WEIGHTS ON THE FLY +++
Compare every weight of each symbol by simply clicking on the desired weight. Will it look better in semibold or heavy? San Fransymbols makes it easier than ever to decide.

+++ FAVORITE SYMBOLS +++
With a quick key command, add symbols to your favorites. Perfect for keeping track of a list of symbols you want to incorporate into a project.

+++ NATURAL LANGUAGE SEARCH +++
No longer do you have to remember that the maximize symbol is named arrow.up.backward.and.arrow.down.forward. Natural language search means you can find more symbols relevant to your next project.

+++ WRITTEN FROM THE GROUND-UP FOR MAC +++
San Fransymbols has been written with the Mac in mind, with native UI elements and great performance.

Two suggestions

I would love to see you regroup the main menu of categories a bit. Specifically, I’d love it if Multicolor, Variable, Unicode Data, and Restricted were all grouped together under the heading Traits (or a similar name). And then possibly to split off All and What’s New from the other categories too. The entire list could then be titled Collections, which IMO is more accurate and intuitive.

It would also be really useful if I could filter to show just the symbols available to me for the minimum iOS version I’m targeting for an app. Example: only symbols present in iOS 15.

Otherwise, love the app!

Great app

The best out there to get the SF Symbols, very useful the the most important: always up-to-date. Only missing thing would be to give users the possibility to copy the symbol (maybe even export it as image?). The best one overall, keep up the good job!
