App doesn’t seem to support some BMT Flights (FLT)

App doesn’t seem to support some BMT Flights (FLT), specifically 433TRS/FLT421 throws an error (Invalid flight number).

Also, when entering the FLT number, the Continue button is hidden below the keyboard and there is no obvious way to dismiss it nor is it obvious the Continue is at the bottom of the screen hidden behind the keyboard.

It seems the app offers limited information and it a bit buggy at this stage. Not very useful in my opinion.

Zero Support

I downloaded this application to “follow” my son through BMT in an attempt to stay connected with him. Most days, the application does not work and Error messages are displayed, if the application even opens. Updating the application has changed nothing. I attempted to contact the powers that be concerning some of these issues. To include informing them that there were no updated pictures of the recruits in training. This application gives nothing more than false hope that a family member can “follow” their Airmen throughout their training. Support services has failed to reply to the messages and no updates can be seen.

In speaking with other parents, they have reported the same issues. This application is worthless and should not be downloaded. You’ll just be wasting your time and pretending that all is right in the world. Do yourself a favor and commit to communicating with your Airmen through letters and telephone calls. You will find much more satisfaction in the end.

Best USAF All-purpose app I’ve seen.

There’s just one issue I’ve spotted: in the packing for BMT section of the app, it is impossible to be more than 59% packed due to the “Air Force Provided Items” and “Suggested Items to Purchase at BMT” sections. These items, while checked off, are not counted in the total amount. This should be changed so that either they are checked off on the list, or they do not count as a part of the list.

I understand that this is a new app, and there are a bunch of patch updates to be made. This is one of the ones I’d like to see first.

Besides that one issue, I would like to let the developers know that this is my favorite AF app by far. The UI is excellent, and it is so easy to find the information I want! Great job, and Aim High!

Developer Response ,

Thank you for your feedback and for using Aim High! We appreciate your input very much, and understand this issue and have worked to get it resolved. As of right now this issue should be taken care of in the current version of the application. Thank you again for taking the time to help us get this issue taken care of and for your positive feedback!
