Description
Run Conway's Game of Life on your watch! The famous cellular automata is now no farther away than your wrist.
This app lets you run Conway's Game of Life. The simulation starts with a randomly filled grid of cells.
Three color schemes are available: in Four Life (the default), live cells are in one of four states. Each state is represented by a different color. Cell births and deaths follow the standard Life rules but when a new cell is born it takes the state that matches the majority of its living neighbors.
There is one edge condition. Since cells are only born when they are surrounded by exactly three living cells, there could be a tie for the surrounding cell states with exactly three states being represented. In this case, the newly born cell takes the fourth state.
The Night Time and Classic color schemes give rise to a standard rendition of the Game of Life.
