CHQ Assembly is the online expression of Chautauqua Institution. Chautauqua is dedicated to the exploration of the best in human values and the enrichment of life through a program that explores the important religious, social and political issues of our times; stimulates provocative, thoughtful involvement of individuals and families in creative response to such issues; and promotes excellence and creativity in the appreciation, performance and teaching of the arts.
To access all features and content you can subscribe to CHQ Assembly on a yearly basis with an auto-renewing subscription right inside the app.* Pricing can vary by region and will be confirmed before purchase in the app. In-app subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of their cycle.
* All payments will be paid through your iTunes Account and may be managed under Account Settings after the initial payment. Subscription payments will automatically renew unless deactivated at least 24-hours before the end of the current cycle. Your account will be charged for renewal at least 24-hours prior to the end of the current cycle. Any unused portion of your free trial will be forfeited upon payment. Cancellations are incurred by disabling auto-renewal.

The heart
Dr. Sandeep Jauhar spoke eloquently about the heart. He helped me understand a lot of things about my own heart condition which I had not understood before, mainly, the emotional connection to the physical illness. I listened to him talk and all these pieces fell into place and I have a calmness I have not had for 20 years.
This is just one of the many incredibly positive experiences I’ve had listening to the Premier quality speakers who are drawn to Chautauqua.
This season, with an ever expanding belief on the part of those who run Chautauqua that the institution needs and wants to be available to as many people as possible, is so encouraging to me and says so much about the quality of the decision makers at Chautauqua.
I am personally incredibly grateful. I am a friend of Jim and Judy Moffitt and it is they who first introduced me to Chautauqua two or three decades ago but I have never before been able to virtually join so many of the programs available and learn and be comforted and guided by all the information that previously has been available to only the people at Chautauqua. Bless the decision makers for the emphasis on diversity and the way those of us who are not physically present are being included.

Exception Venue for Dialogue, Listening and Learning
This season, Chautauqua Institution has overcome a major barrier to its traditional on-campus programming — the Pandemic required social distancing and quarantining. Chautauqua has ably transitioned to online virtualized season presentation formats in the sciences, music, religion, literature, theater. Yes, in person is better, but the excellence of the on-line programing is transcendental and we can see real time improvements in the media formats used from day-to-day. I highly recommend participation in either real-time or streaming.
Second week programs
I thought not being able to be at Chautauqua this week would be a real downer. However, with what you have been able to do makes it possible to be able to share in some of the programming. You are to be commended on what you have been able to do.
I still very much miss the on-site experience.
