TIDY for Pros 4+

You would’ve thought the app came out in 2014. Just started using the app and cleanings caught on faster then attended; however, they do pick and choose when they want to deal with issues. The app has many glitches and whenever I try to change my bookable hours, it glitches. I ended up getting a cleaning when I wanted to cancel and was charged $20 to cancel! Every time you cancel it charges you so be sure of your hours. They also only respond through email, which is a hassle if you have a quick need. It doesn’t tell you any information about the cleaning until you get there. I recently had an issue where a cleaner did no show up and they booked for two of us to come. Out of politeness and need for the client I stayed for a 2.5 hour clean instead of one. They were able to compensate me for it; however, I just had a client ask for me to stay until everything was cleaned which only was an extra 45 minutes for a booked one hour clean. They claimed that they weren’t able to change it even though they just did. Now no response from the client. And usually they pay I advance but the app has no clear indication to tell!

This is the worst app and business I’ve signed up honestly - it seems like they set you up for definite failure - they don’t explain clearly since the beginning on all the fees they charge the pros or how the app works .. as a first time cleaner I put my availability but didn’t expect to be charged a ridiculous fee for not being able to take the job that your automatically booked for (I only cancelled because I got sick those days ) you can’t view the size home or tasks you’re expected to do until about an hour before the booking starts and on top of that the app starts glitching when you’re suppose to clock in or out and you have to go thru the hassle of deleting and re- downloading … when you submit a message they’re responses are very generic and you can’t get ahold of a real person it seems because they only reply thru email and then the emails are a no-reply email so you can’t go further into detail and never find a solution - I never got paid for the cleaning that I did for 2.5 hrs - it’s a scam do not sign up you will regret it never using again hopefully everyone that reads this knows not to sign up with them you’re better off signing up with any other cleaning app

Tidy is only concerned with profits,
If you have a concern about a customer or a payment they take forever to get back to you…even though you work for them.

Yet when they have a problem they are quick to take the money you earned even though they only give you half of what they charge to begin with.

They love to send workers in groups to clean small houses that only require one person, they notify you that there will be another cleaner with you last minute….then charge you if you leave early because there’s nothing else to do.

I was physically assaulted by a customer and they did nothing about it.

Some bookings are for two hours and they expect you to deep clean and 4 bedroom 3 bathroom house.

Alot of customers complain about poor management on the app, common problems include : lack of communication, $10 credit instead of refunds, way too many housekeeper cancellations (due to poor management of the app on the cleaners end) and lack of options when it comes to schedule changes or cancellations.

If a customer cancels, they give you $20 on your next pay period no matter how much the job was for.
If you cancel, they take half or more from what you’ve earned on other bookings on the spot.

Everything is basically in their favor,
whether you are a client or a worker on the tidy app you will be let down at some point.
