Superfan: Sports Scores + News 12+

I’ve been waiting to give a review for a few months. This app has grown into the necessity for a sports fan. After they’ve added NCAAF, there’s no reason for me to use any other app. Other apps like ESPN and B/R take forever to load and are overrun with extraneous information. I just want scores and standings, and this app does that so beautifully. I have no doubt they will continue updating and making this app better, as they already have done so continuously.

This was the app sports fans so desperately needed. I love it.

This app has a lot of potential. I’ve been looking for a replacement for Bleacher Report and theScore for a while and if there are a few changes to this app I might have found it. The first thing I’d like to see is the ability to turn off the sports you don’t want. For example I only follow MLB, NFL and the NBA so I don’t want the NHL, NCAA or the MLS. Also on the screen where you can pick leagues I’d like to have the ability to combine all of the sports you follow into one new feed. So you can see all the news and scores for all the leagues and teams you follow in one place. The next thing I’d like to see is when you are looking at scores for a certain league if the score of the team(s) that you favorite would be one the top so they are always right there and you don’t have to look for them. The next thing I’d like to see is the ability to swipe between days instead of having to click on the day at the top of the screen. Another thing that would be nice if it was added is the ability to stay in the app when you click on an article. And the last thing I’d like to say is that apparently, the developers don’t like my review because they deleted it twice and they replied to everyone else but me. The second time they deleted my review I had the top review for about a month before they deleted it.

Deleting reviews is definitely not something we can do, even if we wanted to! So this must have been a bug on Apple’s side.

Okay user error and I missed the fact that I could select one team with the widget, so now it’s nearly perfect! Updated to five stars because it’s excellent, and my one final product suggestion for the widget would be displaying time/date for future games in the absence of a score. NFL preseason is now less than a week away but still nothing displayed for me (just the misleading “no upcoming games”).

Super happy it was just my mistake on the fav team part, I love having this widget on my home screen.
