UPMC Central PA Portal 4+

I am 76 years old and I absolutely delight in having access to my health tests and procedure results in this detailed and very efficient manner. I love being able to compare previous studies with present studies. As a person who is intent on maintaining my total health in the best possible state for as long as I am able, the UPMC portal allows me to better understand and manage my personal health care.
Having access to my health results allows me to better prepare any questions or concerns I may have about optimizing my health care when I speak with my providers.

This App is so worth having. UPMC has impressed me so much since I moved back to PA. Started in western PA and then moved to Central PA. The two Apps have been wonderful in helping me handle my chronic health issues easily. I highly recommend having this App. Easy to navigate and helpful for making appointments, tracking results of testing and sending messages and requesting refills. UPMC for Life insurance has demonstrated to me that they really want me to be as healthy as possible. Thank you UPMC

The app is pretty easy to use and definitely has some benefits to it, but figuring out what appointments need to be made and where to go and who to call can get very confusing and frustrating. I also don’t agree with getting test results via the app without explanation from my doctor. I also can’t schedule appointments with different departments without calling even though they send messages to schedule said appointments I.e. neurology appts. Billing issues went unnoticed because I didn’t know there was any, nobody calls to says there is one. I miss the days where seeing your doctor was more personal and it felt like they actually knew you.
