Group lights

You guys really need to add a thing where you can group lights together, and then modify them on the fly, instead of having to create a "tap to run".

this is extremely frustrating! Having to manually modify each light one at a time is ridiculous

Loses connection & takes too long to connect

The lights will loose the connection to the Wi-Fi even though the wireless router is sitting within 6 feet. I know the router is reliable because we stream games that my kids never complain of their game messing up. Then when we have to reset or reconnect the lights, the connection will time out— sometimes it is the first light of six that times out. Sometimes it is the second, third, or so forth. Also, I can’t for the life of me, I can’t figure out how to configure the Tap and Run Automation feature. It would be great to be able to set an early morning soft lighting then it gets brighter with the day and gets soft at night again — you have the Rhythm feature but it is only on individual lights — Rhythm should be able to be set on a group of lights (I set up a group with six lights). And while you are at it, anything you can set for an individual light should be something you can do for a group for easier management.

Adding Devices Nightmare

Beware! If you are adding more than 12 lights at a time, it rarely works. You’ll get most of them but not all. And then, only those lights that connected will be controllable. When you go to add the others, you have to add all of them again and it won’t work and you’ll get frustrated. Even if you get them all connected, then some fluke will happen and they’ll all disconnect again!

On top of that, let’s say everything works but the app itself is painfully manual and you end up having to do a lot of things one light at a time.

My husband (an electrician) also says the can lights are slightly bigger than normal can lights so when you realize you’ve made a mistake and can’t handle the erratic behavior of these lights, you may have to repair your drywall to install normal can lights.

You may not think it but having to use your phone to dim the lights is painful.
