Dividend Tracker: Stock Market 4+

I rarely write reviews, but had to share how great this app is. I’ve downloaded (then deleted) dozens of dividend tracking apps. Mostly because they want you to pay a subscription. (I don’t mind paying for the app itself, after all the developers put a lot of time into them, but refuse to pay for a subscription). Back to the point, if you’re looking for a great dividend tracker with a clean interface, and some pretty cool features…look no further. Download it, it’ll cost you nothing and when you see how great it is, give it a 5 star rating and write a review, as a way of saying thanks to the developers!

UPDATE: I wrote the above review 2 years ago and wish I could give this app another 5 star rating. As great as it was back then, it is even better now. Every feature I could have asked for as been added and some I didn’t even know to ask for, but are great to have.

And it’s still free, which blows my mind as it has to be equal to if not better than many of the subscription based apps out there. Keep up the phenomenal work!!

I love how I can back-date transactions and the app will automatically calculate P/L including previous dividend payments

This is extremely useful if you would like to compare a dividend portfolio to SPY over the last 3 years or so, you can simply enter a buy date from the past and instantly see how much you would have gained up until now

The multiple portfolio option makes this super easy for testing

This app is a very good start, provides a lot of really good information. It is obviously well thought out, and implemented well. I think I’ll appreciate the ability to upload my portfolio (when I can have a second one, see #2 below). I have a few suggestions to work towards. 1. First and foremost, it needs to have iCloud support so the portfolio details are automatically backed up. 2. It needs to allow for more than one portfolio. As an example, I have two portfolio accounts, one a 401k and one a normal brokerage account; I like to keep the information separate. 3. Implement “dark mode” support. Nuf said 4.Take the app “universal” so it can take advantage of the iPad screen real estate. 5. Add a monthly calendar display so you can quickly see which dividends are occurring when. Keep up the good work, and I look forward to future updates/enhancements.

1. We already have iCloud support, the app will automatically back up the data.
2. We already have this feature in our roadmap and it's gonna be implemented as well.
3/4. Same here, dark mode and iPad support are a must. Will be added later.
5. At this moment there is dividends breakdown chart which is available by clicking on Estimated Monthly Dividends chart on the Dashboard. But we will think how to improve that.
