Dreamehome App is to manage Dreame Bot cleaning robots to do your home floor cleaning.
Through the App , you may not only access to advanced functions of your robot for your daily home floor cleaning, but also set up preferred cleaning zones and time as you like. Now you could do your home floor cleaning at your hand with the help of Dreamehome.
Remote Control: You could control and operate the robot like the machine staying with you, once the robot is connected to App. Whether you are outside home or far away from the robot at home, you would locate the robot in the map, adjust the parameters, check out the cleaning schedule etc.
Device Information: With the App, you could explore the full functions of your robot, learn about the working status, get error or task messages, check the usage data of accessories etc.
House Map: A cleaning map of your house will help your robot learn and understand the space of your home. By mapping, you could set up the cleaning task with the right rooms or areas for each cleaning task by Dreame robot.
Cleaning by special area: When only a special small area needs a quick cleaning right away, the function cleaning by special area is exactly the right thing for you.
No-Go Zone: If there is any area not to go for cleaning, a simple frame mark could give you a safe cleaning area.
Cleaning Schedule: Set up the cleaning day and time, even the zones as you preferred so that your robot works at the right time for the right zone.
Firmware OTA: OTA (Over The Air) technology will help you upgrade your robot software to the latest version. You would not miss any update from our continuous improvement and new function release.
Voice control: After you finishing signing up the App and adding your robot, your device may work with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant by an connecting operation.
User Manual: You could find the electronic user manual as well as the FAQ for your robot.
Device Sharing: One robot could be controlled among our family members by Device Sharing function via the App.

App and English needs work - X30 is great.
The app does not refresh back to the map after a cleaning is completed. I have to restore the map each time for the furniture icons to reappear on the map.
The no go zone feature works well and the object avoidance is pretty good.
On the iPad you also have a VR option for furniture and it says refer to the manual but there is nothing there. Support is responsive but judging by the responses I received it was clear they did not understand the question.
If they can improve the app and documentation it will be a winner.
What a Dreame!
I have owned two other robot vacuum brands, and this is by far (again, by far) the best I’ve owned! I am able to schedule vacuuming and mopping separately or together. I mostly vacuum, which is scheduled to run everyday. But you can do different rooms on different days in any combination you can think of. And, I can still run impromptu cleanings of any one or more rooms. Which I do frequently after family get togethers. The fast map feature had me up and running quickly out of the box. I love being able to set electronic no go zones instead of needing physical barriers like other vacs. For me the whole system is a game changer. And the navigation is very accurate. It isn’t constantly crashing into my future. In fact, I don’t believe it’s hit anything yet. Now if they could make it climb stairs! I’m sure that’s coming at some point in the future. But for now, I guess I will have to purchase another one for the second floor of my house.
Harder to use compared to iRobot app
The app has a bug where the status of the robot vacuum does not update until you back out to the home screen , then choose the robot again. Often times, the robot will have already finished cleaning, but when I open the app it continues to say it is still cleaning. As a software engineer, I know this is extremely easy to fix. Just listen for the app foreground event and trigger a refresh.
The English translations for the app are awkward. “Pour out the waste water in time” could be less awkward as “Pour out the waste water soon”. There’s also poor word choice. For example, “dining hall” is given as a choice to label your rooms. “Dining room” is far more common in USA. Dreametech should have hired some native English speakers to fix up this awkwardness.
