Easily access your vehicle’s info—including the owner’s manual, service history, and more—with the My Garage and Digital Glovebox features. And stay up to date on open recalls using the Recall Alert so you’re always one step ahead. If your vehicle is equipped, you can remotely start or stop your vehicle+, lock or unlock the doors and activate the horn or exterior lights. You now have access to more services than ever, ranging from entertainment to available Navigation, safety and security and more, all combining to provide new levels of convenience and the peace of mind you deserve.

Decent when it works

I will start this off by saying I am used to also using the Tesla mobile app which is leaps and bounds ahead of this app. That being said, I understand they are 2 completely different vehicles, so my expectations are different for the apps. Unfortunately the app is extremely hit or miss on when it wants to work. Sometimes it opens and works fine, other times it opens and says “updating services” and just sits. I am forced to close it and reopen it.

Often if I am using the app to lock/unlock/remote start I will get an error that it didn’t work. The problem here is that most of the time it did work and either the truck or the app isn’t communicating correctly. It’s very slow to respond when using which can be frustrating. I am sitting on my couch, just attempted to lock my truck 3 times and all 3 times it errored out and failed. It’s really frustrating that the basic functions are inconsistent, especially since it is a fairly expensive service to use with minimal gain for that expense. For what we pay for the truck to be active, I would expect the app to work almost flawlessly. For me, that isn’t the case. I honestly can’t understand how this app is rated 4.8 (at the time of my review).

More features please

The app seems to have trouble communicating with my vehicle quite often when opening the app I get “updating services”message then nothing happens so I have to close and reopen the app and even then sometimes when starting the vehicle the app will say the start failed but my truck will be running. Anytime I try to use the app features thru the watch app I’m asked for the passcode then a message will pop up saying to use the phone but at other times the options to start or unlock will show up on the watch and work fine. The phone start options have been around for a few years now so Mopar should take the time to fix the bugs and make their customers happy. I like the the features currently available but I’ve mentioned over a year ago the Apple Watch needs to be added meaning the ram app right on my watch screen like GMC has. Would also like the feature to have the ability the roll windows up or down(other vehicles have this from back in 2016). The app seems updated regularly so please add these options it would make the Ram app the best available. It has most of the features needed.

Mopar to the ram app?

I’ve been using the mopar app just fine to look at my truck details, manual, warranty, recalls, along with service along with mopar shop.
Then I get notified that the app is going away and to upgrade to this ram app. Now I downloaded it but seems like they are asking for some kind of subscription that the mopar app never did. Why do I have to pay for features I don’t want? I have had guardian free for a year when I bought truck but basically was useless and never used it. So saw no need to renew guardian service. I just want to look at all the stuff the mopar app had without getting features I have to subscribe for.
So when I go into the ram app literally just the Home Screen that says “no subscription” call center. My truck info is in the app but literally no features to look at. Just shows: assistance, account and about. No other information the mopar app had. Is something wrong with this ram app that it’s not showing anything? It’s logged into the account just nowhere to go. And I’d hope you aren’t forcing people to get a subscription to use the features that were free on the mopar app.
So far the ram app is basically useless unless you apparently pay for a service you don’t really use to like unlock vehicle or remote start or whatever guardian was.

You can still use our app without a subscription to see things like recalls or service history.
