Description
This is a simulator to help you learn to fly, or practice flying an FPV race-style quadcopter in FPV. With that said, you can also fly in LOS and fly a plane instead of a quad!
The main thing to note about this simulator is that it's not about racing. Whilst there are some basic gates set up to go through, this is more focused towards freestyle flying, and flying for fun.
To that end, we've included aspects such as being able to chase other vehicles: You can chase up to 3 cars at once going around various circuits on over the different levels and try chasing a plane to help you find ways you might capture this kind of footage in real life.
In the levels you'll find mountains to proximity fly, trees to weave through, a partly constructed office block to fly through (but watch out for the nearby moving crane), moving wind turbines, balls to hit, and not to mention a city with densely packed buildings to fly through.
To give an added sense of realism, weather effects, and time of day are supported - so fly at night, fly in a thunderstorm - whatever you like.
Online play is also supported with up to 4 players per room where you can mix and match planes and quads and also have full crossplay with other mobile devices and those on the desktop versions.
Lastly, there is Quad Ball, a fully-featured game within the sim! In Quad Ball you have to use your quadcopter to get the ball to the goal... ram the ball in just the right way to reach the goal, but be careful, overcook your hit and the ball might fall out of play.
Support for touch controls and bluetooth controllers such as the Playstion and Xbox gamepads Touch controls work well for gentle flying, but for really fast acrobatic flight, using an external controller is highly recommended.
Full setup for your quad (or plane) is provided so you can set things up as gentle or aggressive as you like. Some pre-defined rates are also supplied if you want to simplify things.

This app is still under development, and thus more features and levels are expected in the future.
The sim should run well on most reasonably up-to-date iPhones to iPads (it was extensively tested using an iPhone XR) but is graphically intensive so older devices may struggle. It's possible to alter the graphic detail in-game to help with this though.

To help get the best frame rate possible, the option to reduce the resolution has been implemented along with a frame rate counter so you have check if you are getting the full 60fps

Awesome simulator! Great physics!
This simulator makes flying or learning to fly fpv truly fun. It has quad ball a game in which you use your quad to hit a ball in the direction of the goal. The main layout has just about everything to fly around. Mountains that has a beach ball at the top and when you hit it you can chase it! Physics are very good! Rates can be adjusted manually or just use the presets. You can also chase cars, dive buildings, play online, do freestyle, race. The only thing that could be better if I could link my Tx (remote) to this. The reason this isn’t possible is because of Apple’s Mipi requirements.. I still highly recommend this simulator as it is the best one for a iPhone/iPad. Using this on a iPad Pro 1st generation and it’s flawless! Thanks Currykitten!

Cross-platform compatible online multiplayer.
There is soo much potential here. I’m really impressed. I’d really love to see our community reciprocate Mr Curry Kitten’s hard work and time. As far as I can tell, this is a work in progress.
I would like to say that the player positions on the radar should also display the players orientation.
The “trail” following the quad to make it more visible is dark and still difficult to keep track of. I couldn’t tell if the quads were getting any larger or not when trying to use that feature.

Thanks for your feedback. I’m not 100% happy with the radar either. It perhaps needs to rotate around so “north” on the radar is always in front of you. It’ll certainly have some sort of update in the future. Did you also use the “make other quads big” option in multiplayer. That’ll help find your friends in game as well.

Previously the ONLY real Fpv sim for IOS was Drone on my Phone, which while it was cool, was quite limited in its control. This sim solves all those problems and give a much more robust flight experience. What you’d expect from a sim.
For a first release it’s very well playable and 100% worth the asking price.
Would love to see a track editor , global timing , real race tracking (like VRL does it , tracked gates, starting tone for multi player etc…)
I hope the fpv community can see the value of this simulator for iOS and offer more support so we can see some more features added. All in all a great start and I’ve already logged many hours playing. Cheers!
