Get Sum is a beautiful, personal, and lightweight shopping list app built with macOS design guidelines in mind. It’s as simple as carrying around a physical shopping list.

Has potential but fatally unreliable
Your app has potential. I don’t want to drag you down, but it fails to do its job. If I can’t trust the list is updating properly when I mark things off with my Apple Watch, then I am better served with an Apple Note. I do not recommend others buy this app. The app can’t track 7 items.
I have reset the list. I’ve reinstalled the app on the Apple Watch and iPhone. It was cheap to purchase, but costly in wasted time.

Pure Perfection
Simple. Beautiful. Powerful. NO SUBSCRIPTIONS! This app is a Must! Wish List: 1: The option to have each category as different colors. So when scrolling through my list each category is visually separated by different color. 2: To be able to go into a store within settings, and quickly select all items on my list dedicated to that store, rather than going into each item individually. 3: Same for categories… To be able to go to my categories list within settings, Click “Fruits,” then for my entire list to pop up to easily select all items in my list that fall under the fruits category. Just ideas lol. Amazing app. I have been searching for months. Luckily this just popped up in my news app with a full article. So happy to have stumbled upon it. Thanks for the hard work!!

Had high hopes
Wanted to love this and bought the year subscription. Hasn't been updated in a long time until recently, which shows some promise that it is still being developed. The last time I used it months and months ago, the major issues were the sync and apple watch. The apple watch app never was usable. The sync between devices was haphazard — and inconsistent.
I may retry the app and test it again. You may also want to consider upgrading the icon, as a contain of milk is uninspiring, and isn't going to attract plant-based customers. Just some food for thought ... I hope to be see continued life into this project. Thanks for listening.
