BANDAI TCG ‪＋‬ 9+

As someone who has never really been interested in Bandai’s products and who is just attempting to sign up with a friend to play this new Battle Spirits Saga game, this experience with this particular app can only be described as abysmally frustrating. The app is ancient in appearance and functionality and looks like it belongs in the early 2000’s and functions about as well as Windows Vista (never forget, never forgive).

The fact that this absolute JOKE of an app is a REQUIREMENT to join in a tournament is a testament to the long term effects of radiation. How can such a longtime company in the trading card game business release such a pitiful excuse for an app and actually expect people to have the patience to download and redownload this in order to play in a game shop with a friend is asinine.

A little side message to any Bandai Reps reading:

People are already overpaying you copious amounts of money to participate in your games (because despite 25+ years in this business, you have het to figure out how supply and demand works, apparently). If you want to continue to enjoy the fruits of your (evidently poorly attempted) labors, you should think log and hard about updating this ancient, minimalist trash of an app and seriously consider studying up on logistics chains. There are plenty of other card games for your customers to consider playing. Trust me when I say this: they don’t need you as a distributor.

I have seen some bad apps in my life, but this is by far the worst app I have ever seen! The navigation is very hard, it is difficult to do just about everything. Half the features either don’t work or are basically useless. The fact that this app is “needed” to do events is a load of crap! I’m not sure if Bandai is trying to drive people away from their game, but if they keep making us use this terrible app we will lose a lot of people and the game will begin to die.
Bandai fix this app or don’t require it all together.
Also, the program uses more data and runs slower than I final website did. It takes forever and burns through so much data just to look through cardlist. And for the love of the search, please add a toggle for turning on or off alternate arts!

Using this app actively made my tournament experience worse. While it’s supposed to make running tournaments more smoothly for TO’s, it constantly caused issues with the tournament. Failures to correctly pair players, inability for the app to correct issues in reports, cluttered record keeping for players win loss records and even making things more difficult for stores that have weak or non-existent WiFi or internet connection. These are just a few problems with this app. The fact we “need” this to play in events is insulting to us players. I am begging Bandai to please fix the issues with this app. The old system worked leagues better.
