Not an upgrade

Unlike some on here, who are giving reviews before the app upgrade even took effect, in which the date is todays. This is not an upgrade in my opinion, it is showing transactions slower and the pages are almost like they are still being built. Not to mention you decided to force people out of the old one and sit in the wind for 3 days with no access to their banking outside of going to a physical branch is just ridiculous and completely poor business decision making on your banks part. Get it together before I start looking elsewhere for my banking needs. The 3 day delay alone is flat out unacceptable.

Better than it used to be

The app actually works at least 70% of the time these days but can still be tricky to navigate. The bank itself is a disappointment. They always question if I’m a customer (because my name is difficult to locate). Last time they wouldn’t release my funds because they said my signatures didn’t match so they had me rewrite my name again and again trying to coach me on how to sign my own name. I had to go to the atm 3 days in a row. I’m in the process of doing my taxes and they said because I get paper statements that I don’t have access to past statements electronically(?!?!) like what? If all of my Venmo’s and what nots weren’t already attached to this account, I would close it and go to a different bank. The bank manager and most of the tellers are really nice but that’s not enough. The online support is generally rude. One time when I called they actually were making fun and judging a past customer that called not realizing I was that I was that same customer. Anyways always unhappy here, super judge and unprofessional and the technology is always janky. Oh and the atm is down half the time…

Awful

This app is useless for iPhone iOS users. As other reviewers have stated the display is vertical and you have to scroll and scroll and try to decipher what the transaction is. I followed the suggestion by the app developer to turn off the zoom feature and it did nothing to improve the vertical display! I find it unreasonable for the app developer to blame the iPhone settings as the issue. This is unacceptable and the developer has to make corrections immediately! The app is useless. To suggest to change my settings that will affect my entire experience on my iPhone for this one app is ridiculous. This is a flaw with this app not the iPhone. And, as stated above the suggested solution does not fix the problem. I tried to log into my online banking on my PC to compare the display and I was locked out and have not been able to connect with support because of the long wait, since apparently many people are having issues. So this update is causing many problems across the board for online banking. This launch is a failure and Wintrust must take action quickly to resolve these issues.
