Description

Dry eyes or migraines are caused by looking at the computer screen for extended periods of time without any break in between. When work involves using the computer, and leisure involves watching videos on our phone, it's difficult to find a find a time for us to keep our eyes from being overstrained.

Eye Want to Rest was created so as to help others to regularly take breaks to rest their eyes. Breaks between work are important because it allows for us to continue working at top efficiency throughout the day, rather than peter out slowly because we don't give ourselves enough time to rest.

To use the app, simply tap on the eye to start timing yourself and go to work. Be notified when the time is up, and relax your eyes by performing eye exercises, which includes palming your eyes, pencil pushups and more.

Your eyes deserve more.

Malaya Mai ,

Beautiful app with useful exercises, but would like sound

I love this app so far, but unfortunately I don’t see any option that allows for the timer to have a sound. It is hard to know exactly when I am done with a timed exercise without sound. Can you add a nice pleasant bell sound or a “ding” when the timer ends, pretty please?

Developer Response ,

Hi there Malaya. Thanks so much for your review and sorry for getting back to your review only now. There should actually be a sound when a timed exercise is done, have you tried unsilencing notifications? And as per your request, I have changed the timer to have a pleasant 'ding' sound!

Would be great but…

The app is missing two key features.
1 notifications need to vibrate or chime on Apple Watch for users that are not watching their iPhone but using a computer or other device.
2 the timer needs an option to set a number of intervals for the timer to automatically reset itself.
