The set up is not simple but once it’s done, the robot works great. Love how clean the floor gets everytime it finishes the task.

After being forced to download three different robot cleaning apps (surprised there is more than 1) I officially canceled my subscription (that’s right pay to use the already expensive vacuum) and am writing this review. In the age of technology it blows my mind companies are so inclined as to make using their products so much of a pain that I’d rather go back to living in the Stone Age.
Make me download a single app and be able to use the product how it is advertised and intended instead of discover the inner workings of robot vacuum technology. If I could give 0 starts I would.
Misleading
I purchased a new iRobot J7, and I needed to download the app to set the vacuum up when I went to the App Store. This was the app that came up when I typed it in not realizing it was not the app that was needed as it was misleading, saying that it was the control and I had to purchase after purchasing I realized it was not the app to set up my iRobot.. I contacted Apple support, and they would not refund the money. I was unable to use the app as it did not do what I was led to believe. Be sure if you’re looking for an iRobot app to set up make sure it is the actual iRobot app. Good luck.
