Check also the Deluxe version which adds many features (among other features: add your own notes and remember your own important dates).

Other solutions exist on the web with similar functionalities but require a live internet access and/or a desktop computer to work. Also, the very fact that they require a live internet connection makes them very slow to use.

Being a native iPhone application, Pocket Luach allows for quick and simple conversion of dates on the go. This is useful for any observant Jew or for Gentiles doing business with observant Jews. For instance, with Pocket Luach, one can quickly make sure a proposed date for an appointment does not fall on a Jewish holiday before finalizing the date.

Missing 9th of AV?!?!

I've used this Luach for years, and overall I've been happy with it. But for August 2016it lists Tu B'Av (which, frankly, I hadn't even known was a thing) but has no indication that Tisha B'Av is a fast day. Major fail, guys, especially when it falls on Shabbat and fast time guidelines are needed. The app doesn't seem to have a bug report function, so I'm saying it here.

Great Start!

It's a calendar. I get it. I wish it included the weekly parashot throughout the week, not just on Shabbat. Also would be great if holiday's were searchable. Like when the next Sukkot is...

And for all you "price" shoppers:

Don't be a schmuck. We're supposed to help our Brothers, even if it does cost us once in a while. This is only one of three Jewish apps and costs less than your last album (which you probably don't even listen to that much any more.) Quit griping about the cost! If we don't support Jew Devs we'll be wading through all the other "religious" stuff just to look for the other two (KosherMe and Siddur) and kvetching the entire time that "there isn't much for us."

If we don't support them, they sure as Sh'ol aren't going to be motivated to put out anything better!
