Description

A tap tempo and BPM delay time/LFO rate calculator all rolled into one handy iOS application. Invaluable for all musicians, DJ's, producers and sound engineers.

Want to know the tempo of a song? Tap your finger on the big friendly tap button in time with the music and the tempo will display at the top. Got a delay effect on your pedal/synth/effects rack? Accurate delay times are already on the screen for you to use. Got a LFO parameter on your effect or synth patch? The LFO rates are also on screen to set the effect in time with the track.

If you already know the BPM use the new keypad to enter the BPM to get the LFO and delay times.

Features:
- Tap in time with any music to find the tempo, correct delay times and LFO frequencies.
- Hit the mode button to change the delay and LFO display to dotted or triplet time
- BPM can be adjusted manually if you already know the tempo and just need the delay/LFO rates.
- Simple easy to use interface.
- Enter BPM directly via keypad
- New meters for taps taken, tap timing and tap accuracy

Keeps me right in line.

Quickly does exactly what you want it to do.

It would be helpful to add a reset button, sometimes it doesn't like to change tempos drastically (if tapping out a new song). Instead, it will slowly count down beats until it hits a new average. I have gotten into the habit of restarting the app at the beginning of each song.

Handy app

Seems like a handy app. I'll use it with my band at rehearsals. One improvement that can be made is if the Tap button lights when touched. That visual cue would help out.

Why are they all calculated wrong

They’re all one off from what they should be. At 160 bpm the one bar should be 1500ms, 1/2 should be 750ms, and so on and instead the full bar is 750, 1/2 is 375, and on and that’s really frustrating especially since I actually paid money for this app. If it’s free that’s one thing but if I spend money on an app I expect it to work correctly
