Hearts 4+

hey! thanks so much for this game, it’s hell trying to find an app for a game of hearts which is straight up just playing the game. i dig not having to deal with playing against partners who are all up in my face. i love the simplicity of this game, i dig that it is free, and i double dig that there are no ads!!! i can play an entire game in about 10-15 mins.
sometimes pulling cards can be dicey, but that’s my only beef. you rocked this one!

It’s hard to find a good Hearts app. Very hard. They tend to cheat, a truly random deal is impossible to find. And while this app cheats less than most, it still cheats. That queen of spades almost always comes at you from the player to your left. That’s not random. I’m not one of those people who has to win every hand, but you feel cheated when the deal is so predictably not random, and that’s not fun. I believe that developers do this in order to make the game ‘harder’. I play games to unwind and relax. It’s not relaxing when you’re frequently reminded of the lack of randomness in the game. And other players will successfully shoot the moon far more often than actually happens when you play other players irl. And the cards are physically awkward to play as they are too close together. Too often I’ve played the wrong card because of this awkwardness. It’s difficult to play the cards at the far left of your deck, and if you’re not very careful it bounces you back to the main menu. The cards snap back if you should choose the wrong suit to throw. Unfortunately that also can happen when it’s the correct suit, so pay attention.

This game has the potential to be great fun. But not until the deal is made truly random and the cards are easier to handle.

I enjoy this game. It is straight forward.

Please add running hearts total for each hand to screen while it is being played.
Also might want to add countering shoots to your players.
