Merelles is a classic strategy game that has been played in various forms for two thousand years. Now this classic game is brought up to date so that you can play it on your iPhone / iPod Touch, either against the computer or against another person.

The 6 men game is also known as 6 Men's Morris and was popular during the middle ages in England, France and Italy.
The 9 men game is also known as 9 Men's Morris, Mills and Merrills, and is arguably the most popular version. It emerged from the Roman Empire and peaked in popularity in medieval England. It is still played by many today.
The 12 men game is also known as 12 Men's Morris and Morabaraba and has been played for thousands of years across Africa. It is still very popular. This is the most challenging version of the game.

Easy, is freak'n hard!
Not much of a beginner mode the AI kills, I guess I haven't played this in a while but I still would think easy wouldn't be this difficult
Very Good; Suggestions for next version
I truely enjoy this App and consider it money well spent.
That said, the following are my requests for the next version:
* unlimited undo (vs the current 1 level undo)
* more statistics & button next to settings on game board (# win/loss/%, etc. look at the Sol Free app)
* quick button to play with default settings (players, game, colour) or just jump straight to the last played game
* more themes
* hint button for at least the easy level
* a description of the difference between "Abandon Game" & "Resign"
All that said, I really do recomend this App.
Nice Application
Interface is easy to use. Simply touch the piece that you want to move and the game shows the legal moves. Fat-fingering is not a problem. This application allows you to play 4 different, but related, games. The other versions of Merelles for the iTouch/iPhone do not offer the various different games and don't allow for computer play.
A great buy for only $2! My only request would be for another board or two: perhaps a wood board with stone pieces.
