KCLU Public Radio App:
The KCLU Public Radio App allows you to listen to KCLU, pause and rewind the live audio, and view the program schedule for KCLU all at once! You can explore On Demand content, bookmark a program for later, and wake up to KCLU with the alarm clock!
Live Streaming
• DVR-like controls (pause, rewind, and fast forward). You can pause the live stream to have a conversation and pick up right where you left off! Or rewind to catch a comment you just missed!
• Listen to live streams from KCLU even while traveling! Start the app and your favorite station starts playing – no clicks to start listening.
• Integrated program schedules for the KCLU stream!
• One click stream switching – flip over to the program you noticed on another stream with a single click.
• Listen to KCLU in the background while browsing the web or catching up on your emails!
On Demand
• Access KCLU’s programs easily and quickly.
• DVR-like controls. Pause, rewind and fast forward your program with ease.
• When listening to programs, individual segments (when available) are listed so you can review and choose one or listen to the entire program.
• Easy to access past programs.
• The KCLU Public Radio App displays the web page associated with the program or program segment you are listening to On Demand so you can explore for more information.

Pretty Good
App works really well most of the time but there are cut outs and times when it will say that one show is on but it is actually another so it is confusing and at times disappointing. Also I had no idea that they created their own app and was continuing to try to find my station on the NPR app.
I love it!
I grew up in Ventura listening to KCLU on my pocket radio, and last year when I graduated high school I moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The KCLU app has been a wonderful way to stay up to date with news from home and shows from KCLU. I’ve always loved the show lineup, and through this app I can enjoy it even though I now live across the country. Thank you for this app.
KCLU For You
They’ve done a good job creating an easy to navigate application. Good how? The quick-glance test. Seeing categories of stories quickly. Local stories vs national. Current vs almost current. Search capabilities are also good. Lastly, it’s nice to rely on an app that isn’t in regular crash position. Wrap all of that in a competent news team and you’ve got a winner! Nice work.
