Some of our Reviews

"This smartly-written, artistically-composed musical story has children as its target but adults as its bulls-eye. Upgrades the basic children’s storybook to the 21st century, without losing the magic." WIRED magazine

"Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy' meets 'Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds', 'Jungle Book' meets 'Jurassic Park' via Sgt. Pepper!" Audiobook Review

"This is an amazing mix of story, songs & sound effects." The Times

"Such an Ingenious story." The Guardian

The Story

Far away in the Sea of Tranquility is the Island of Infinity, home to the world’s lost creatures. Infinity has a secret for the world but Moog, a boy from Battersea in London, and Rockford his dog are the only ones who can deliver its message. Traveling to Infinity, Moog and Rockford are drawn into an adventure that threatens the entire human race.

At its heart, Lost on Infinity (formally known as Rockford’s Rock Opera) is a tale about extinction and ecology. But it’s a hopeful story that shows that the smallest creatures, and humans, can make the biggest difference.

An award-winning, psychedelic, spell-binding, thought-provoking 21st Century adventure!

Good

I read this to my baby brother and he loves it. Problem is part two and three cost $ which I'm not really wanting to pay for something you listen to once. I would be grateful if you could have a FREE month sale for them. Or something. Thanks!!

Good try...

I'm not saying it's terrible. I think it started out as a great idea. Kids can enjoy musicals just as much as anyone. I think Disney has proved that. However the switch from animation to still photos is distracting. Some parts are beautifully drawn or animated while others look like they ran out of time and through it together. The narrator has a wonderful voice that fits wonderfully. The songs lack in my opinion. The lyrics try to hard to rhyme. They sound as if they were written by someone in the fourth grade. They also go on for much to long. Maybe if thy were better written it wouldn't feel that way. For example a green moth saying he may be green but his nose is clean. Is that a cheap rhyme or a booger joke gone wrong? Either way I think this is on to something just not quite right. I watched the free version but refuse to pay $5 to see part 2. Maybe $1.99 at most. I think it would have more buys and more reviews if it were less expensive and a bit more care in the making. I see a few people really enjoyed it and so did their kids. I'm glad. To each his own. If your reading this review to see if you'll like it. Download the free version and decide for your self. After 4 chapters you will know.

From a Grand'Ma fan of Rockford

My grand child was about 3 when he first laid eyes on this gem on my I phone. At first, the beginning of the story was almost too much. But of all the apps --on long car journeys-- that is the one he returned to, as there was always something new to discover and listen to. Now when he takes my phone, after a few games, it's back to Rocford part 1.2.3. He is soon to be 4y.o. and the next instalment is one of the gifts I will get for his birthday. I very much enjoy looking at the whole opera with him. Congratulations. YayaCat
