Crashes - deleting it

The app crashes while in stages of setting up the match so I can't even start tracking stats. Tried restarting my iPhone but that doesn't help. Won't be buying the full version since I can't even tell what the lite version does. (I have iOS4)

Fantastic match-tracking app

I really like this app a lot. It's much more comprehensive than other match-tracking apps and surprisingly easy to use once you've practiced it once (See Last note). I video my match from the back fence, then input the data point-by-point into this program. The stats it produces tell you SO much about your game. I also like the purchasing flexibility they've setup. I'm not ready to throw down the $50 for the app, but I like buying match credits as I go. I usually hate free apps because most of them have ads, but this one's not like that.

A few features I would like added are: 1. A stat that tracks which serves you won/lost the point on (other than the obvious ace). 2. The option to track every shot in the point (not just the rally number). This would help me to know how many total forehands, backhands, etc. 3. The ability to go back through the match. 4. Email match files to other iPad/iPhone devices, not just the PC version.

Last note: If your tracking a live match, they give you the ability to turn off return tracking and final shot tracking. I guarantee that you're not fast enough to track all these things live. But with these turned off, tracking a live match is very doable, but you must practice at least a few games first.

Thank you for the positive words on the app. Tracking every shot in a rally would be very difficult to do in practice – you would never be able to keep up with a match. The software records Serves, Returns (optional) and the Key deciding shot of each point. This is sufficient to produce a great deal of information on a match, including: full stats, scatter diagrams, momentum chart and replay. Matches can be e-mailed to other iPhones and iPads, as well as the PC version.

This app is exactly what I've been looking for.

I wanted to find a good tennis stats app and this was by far the most impressive. It is very easy to use, and best of all the kids seem to really buy in to it. It makes it very easy to coach them when they have seen their own stats TV-style. I especially like the serving scatter diagrams as this is such an important area to the game. Overall, a great app, it is more expensive than others but is definitely worth the money.
