LineLearner lite helps you to learn up to 10 lines as quickly and easily as you learn a catchy song.
LineLearner lite enables you to record scripts scenes from plays and then it allows you to listen to the full recording while you learn your part. You can then select to leave gaps in the recording for you to speak your part aloud. A prompt button is there to remind you of your line if you forget.
You can choose to repeat individual scenes or the whole play.

With line learner you can record your script, and share it with others, who can record their lines, and share them back, giving you the ability to rehearse together even when apart.

Paid, but didn’t get linelearner app

I paid the extra to get the full version, but it just allowed me to put more lines into the line learner lite app, so I have to pay again for the full app with characters etc?

Update: I figured it out. The line learnerlitw app appears to run with the full functionality now that I found out how to get to it, but deleting lines is nearly impossible. I found myself just recording the fastest blip of silence I could instead of trying to delete.

Essential!

I have used this (well, the full version, which I added as an in-app purchase) for four shows and I really don’t know what I’d do without it! I recommend just buying the full version, even if you try this version first, rather than just upgrading. Frankly, the interface is a little clunky but the functionality is perfect, and adjust as you move from just listening, to learning, to practicing, including speeding things up so you’re really on your game.

Glitchy but useful

The app is infuriating when I try to delete a line or a scene- it doesn’t register my swipe left to delete. I close the app, reopen, and nothing happens. I was able to delete once, in the past, but I don’t know what allowed me to do it. Just lucky I guess. There are a lot of helpful features that are hard to figure out at first, but can be really useful when you get it down.
