Description

Why the number 80? Ever wonder what all those hard-to-track, pesky serving sizes do for you? A day's allotment roughly ends up being 80 Bites. But that's NOT where we are starting. When you use the 80Bites app, you will get a sound and a question at bite 26. WHY? If your stomach were OK, you would FEEL something. Most of you won't feel anything so keep eating; remember, even if you get to 50 Bites, it is just your current marker.

Tap the "Bite" button each time you put food in your mouth. For now, forget about beverages. Eat solid food - not soup - for the diagnostics part of the stomach training program.

Created by Registered Dietician Meredith Luce RD MS LN and Pilates Expert Joan Breibart, the 80Bites App precedes the 80Bites Program — 12 STEPS developed to downsize hunger — just like Ozempic! Shedding pounds happens automatically when your hunger is tamed. Visit 80Bites.com to subscribe to the 12 STEP Stomach Training program and ditch dieting for good!

A message from Sam the Stomach:

Hello, Hungry People!

It seems that you eat too often, too much, and food is always on your mind. The 80Bites app is designed to help you manage your eating habits.

Here's how it works: Grab a plate of food and a beverage (please note, sips don't count). Open the app, take a bite, and hit the BITE button. When you reach your 26th bite, a loud noise will sound. This is your cue to stop. Push your plate away and focus on your stomach. We're not referring to the larger area under your belly button but rather the small sausage-shaped container under your left breast.

Can you feel any sensation of fullness? If not, feel free to continue eating. However, make sure to track when you start to feel full. The app's counter goes as high as 99 bites. If you don't reach a sensation of fullness within this limit, perhaps try again at another meal. Remember, a bag of chips doesn't count as a meal.

You might be wondering, why 26 and 80? The answer lies in your hormones. The drug Ozempic works by rebalancing your gut hormones that may be out of sync. With 80Bites and Ozempic, which is soon coming in a handy pill form, you can address this issue in a comprehensive manner.

Ready to get started? Let's embark on this journey towards better eating habits together.

Really enjoying so far. Needs a few tweaks

I'm loving the concept and can see that this will have an affect on how much I eat. The talking stomach is well thought out. It tell me what I need to hear at each part of a meal in order to identify if I'm eating for pleasure out just out of habit. It would be great to have a ticker on the app to tell how many bites so far today. I do think the design is a little clunky but it's a free app that delivers. I'll be back in a month to update on any progress I've made with weight loss.
To the developer - When I click on the link to learn more and give my email for the 12 week program, nothing comes up.

Interesting app

The 80 bites app is a interesting application that shows that hormones play a huge role in hunger. The more you eat the hungrier you get in the long run. It helps train your body to be aware of what you are eating and how much and to be mindful of when you are full to help maintain you gut health , slim down and calm your mind. Diets typically do not work and can be difficult to maintain in the long run. I know staying on top of workouts, food, hormones, and making sure to watch what I eat due to not having a gallbladder, it can be more difficult. Every body is different.

Please save bites

I love the app and the idea of this way of eating but I wish it saved your bites for the day. For example if I ate 12 bites for breakfast, I want it to save so at lunch I can see how many bites I had so far. Instead it resets and it’s hard to keep track. Other than that, it’s great!
