The KXT app allows you to listen to live music from KXT 91.7, listen to and read on-demand content from KXT and NPR Music, and view the program schedule all at once. You can search for programs and wake up to KXT with the alarm clock!

Love KXT!
Proud to be a member of this station! The app is great. KXT plays a very unique mixture of classic rock, alternative, folk, country, and postmodern rock from artists from all locales, including North Texas. I love Soundtrack at Seven Monday through Friday, and also Funky Fridays. I wish the station would pick up Sound Opinions (miss it when I lived in Chicago and listened to it on WXRT and WBEZ) and some of the Sunday evening programming is not my favorites, but, overall, KXT has been an essential companion of my first year in the Metroplex!
App operates near flawlessly
Fantastic to be able to stream KXT and KERA out of the same app - on demand and access to additional media only a plus.
KXT has been the greatest addition to DFW metroplex radio since radio itself. Commercial free, creative programming- a PD who clearly cares about the content played on her station. Donate to keep public radio!!!
Great App, but could use improvements
Could be a little more optimized, maybe put your online stream at the forefront of the app home page. The play button at the bottom of the screen works well enough with the control screen pop-up, but it could look better. Maybe something along the lines of Spotify’s or Apple Music’s UI. Overall, great app for what it is.
