Excruciatingly poor excuse for an app!
I had hoped for so much from my beloved Macquarie dictionary, and instead I'm appalled by this app. Of the dozen dictionary apps I have, it is hands down the worst. In fact, it's one of the most pathetic apps I've ever encountered. The developers say they're working on improvements; I sincerely hope so.
So, here's what's good about the app: the content of the dictionary itself.
Here's what's bad: everything else. The only way to find a word is to type its first letters then start scrolling through the entire matching list (too bad if you don't know how to spell the word). There is no other way to access the content. And once you've scrolled through the list to find a match, you have to scroll all the way back up to rediscover the search box.
I feel terribly ripped off by this sham of an app. Shame on you, Macquarie!
