*** THE OFFICIAL CLIPOUNETS APP ***
Awaken your little one to the world of French with traditional acoustic nursery rhymes loved in France for nearly 30 years.

Classics like Alouette, Frère Jacques, and Pirouette Cacahuète combine a magical world of animals, rhyming words, acoustic music, and little children’s voices, with hand-drawn animation for truly soulful content that’s safe and educational for your little one.

By sharing these happy moments with your child, you will also find that their French vocabulary and pronunciation widens.

Created by French educators, child psychologists, professional musicians, and parents, Clipounets introduces little ones to the world of words through musical memory, repetition, and aural and visual cues.

** THE CLIPOUNETS STORY **
In Paris in the early 1990s, a group of parent-musicians whose children were in preschool together struggled to find high quality traditional French nursery rhymes for their little ones and started recording their own versions.

A year later, with professional musicians, we recorded these parents & their little ones and published the famous "Compil des Petits Minous" which became the most popular nursery rhyme album in preschools and kindergartens in France in the ‘90s.

In 1994, we produced some of these albums into cartoons. This was the birth of Clipounets: small musical clips to awaken children to language.

The clips are scripted, drawn, and animated by artists; following guidelines put together by a panel of educators and children specialists, focused on teaching language in sweet, calm, and engaging ways.

From the beginning, Clipounets are always constructed in two parts: a first clip for the child to discover the story, followed by a second pass with words in big subtitles to start their reading skills.

This process allows your child to discover that the lyrics of their favorite songs are written, which helps them become familiar with the world of reading.

Sweet French culture

I love showing my daughter clipounets- videos I feel good about! It teaches us both about French culture and for that I am très grateful. It’s even helped me with my pronunciation.

Good idea!

very basic, uncomplicated yet effective tool for children to grasp onto the sounds of the French or English language (depending on the version you download). The songs are catchy, the colors and graphics attractive to children, and it's user-friendly enough for your child to play with, without the help of adults. good price too, as long as you don't buy each song individually ( which you don't have to, they're all available for just $3.99!) not bad compared to other children's apps that cost $5 and then you pay for additional content. you get a few songs for free, and if you like it enough, you can buy the rest later. I've recommended it to all of my friends who teach younger children!
