Description
Ever wonder if the place you are in is damaging your hearing?
Sometimes it is easy to take for granted how loud places are.
This app allows you to see volume levels in a simple form and will warn you if you should be wearing ear plugs.
The application allows the user to specify a filter within the application. The filter determines how much the input is smoothed out; this is to filter out spikes from background noise and give a more accurate average reading.

It doesn't work the way it should it's not accurate, why do we have to select our environment in order to measure the noise .. piece of crap and waste of money
Calibration ability makes all the difference
The free version of TooLoud is a toy because the reported values are usually way wrong. Get this version instead to calibrate against a NIST traceable sound pressure level meter and turn your phone into an instrument.
Great for teachers!
I used the old app in my classroom and I'm happy to see the new version. Kids don't know how to monitor their voices during group work and this is a way to teach them to self-regulate. Thanks!
