Description

Tired of printing lyrics, tab and chords wasting paper, ink and time? With Chord Archiver you can archive your songs (with lyrics, chords and tabs) manually or through the web, saving songs in the App. You can also insert the YouTube link to the relative video, so you can play it in a box while you're studying the song and learn it quickly.

Songs are sorted by author, and you can use a full-text search to help you finding a song easily.

Playlists

You can create as many playlists as you want, and rearrange them. These songs are displayed in a menu on the right. You can decide the order of these songs and create a real outline for your live performance!
After selecting a song from a playlist, you can browse the playlist back and forth in an simple way: swipe right or left to change song in that playlist.

Print and sharing

If you want, you can print a song directly in the app or share it with your band,by simply using an email address.

Transposition and hints

You can transpose chords with the buttons labelled +1 and -1, next to the song's title. If you select the chors you can play (in Settings), the lightbulb shaped button will suggest to you in which transposition you can play that song!

Autoscroll and font size features.

Long songs have long lyrics and chords: with autoscroll you can scroll without touching the display.
You can change the font size and the autoscroll speed.
Chord Archiver saves for you these settings for each song.

Very Good App. that could be better

I really like most of features of this app. Its easy to copy and paste from the web and arrange alphabetically by artist. The scroll feature, the black background options are good.
The original version allowed you to see the time and battery life and wifi strength at the top of the page but since the update it's been eliminated. I would like to have the option to see those but the app doesn't allow that anymore.
I was unclear about the back up feature I thought it was automatic when I made the back up feature purchase, I didn't realize that I would have to send myself an email and then copy and paste everything back into the app. incase the app. got accidentally deleted which it did, so I've lost countless hours. I would like to see a better option for back up.
A couple different font styles and a way to keep the black background as the default instead of having to set it each time would also be nice to see in any updates.

Chord Archiver

This seems like an app with exactly the features I am looking for, and it worked perfectly with the accompanying sample song. Unfortunately, for the life of me I can't make it paste in the chords and lyrics to a new song after I create a new entry. It will be far too cumbersome to have to type in chords and lyrics for each new entry.

Sweet

This app is EXACTLY what I was looking for! I needed something that I could copy/paste songs into and keep them organized. Also wanted to be able to categorize songs and flip between them live. This app is so perfect. It is very simple, but fits my needs perfectly. I am a worship leader and this is how I use this app: instead of using authors name, I put them in categories such as "contemporary" or "hymns" then have the song titles. Being able to swipe between the starred songs allows me to, in a single motion, move on in the set list. Also, having the ability to scroll the lyrics at a certain pace means I can make the words large enough to read and still not have to scroll manually. Kudos to you on your first app, it's outstanding!
