Very nice, some polishing required

It's very nice: images loads and renders fast and sharp (tested with 8000x4000px), and I especially like easy and straightforward managing of photos (offline storage are great option). However some improvements would be most appreciated - folders inside pano documents for example, and please, please do something to your starting screen menu - it's design just not as good as it could be.

Great app!!

iPano is a very simple app and is very easy to use. As part of my job I produce 3D renders for prospective clients. Many of our clients are interested in seeing a visual concept before committing to the design. By adding a spherical lens to my camera in 3DS Max, I can capture a 360 degree photorealistic panoramic image. The camera movement is very smooth and reads the jpeg image just fine. There is a little distortion if you are zoomed all the way out but that can easily be remedied by zooming in just a little. Very pleased with this app!

Versatile and effective. Some memory annoyances

I got this app a few weeks ago when I needed a way to show my VR panos to clients and employers. So far it has done a great job. Between jpegs and now QuickTime VR files, I can show off my work quickly without a comp. Since the iPad res of these images is about the same as you would see the images on web, it very accurately shows what a client could expect to see on their website.

Two things I would really like to see added. First is some kind of picture frame mode that displays a selected pano and scrolls around it slowly. Maybe even make it so e user can specify custom scroll paths.

Second is the ability to put on much larger, high res images. Hardware limitations are likely a big issue, but higher res would be such a plus.

Only negative thing I'd like to mention is the app can crash if the image being loaded is too big for the hardware. I easily crash my original iPad switching between multiple 4096x2048 jpegs, which is apparently a bit beyond recommended but incidentally, I ignore the crashes cause the resolution is worth it.

Great work! Keep it up! Can't wait to see those updates. First review for this app and for me personally! Wewt
