Good…could be better
This App is pretty darn good. Works pretty much just like a normal web interface. My only pet peeve is the orientation of the App. On an iPad it HAS to be landscape mode. I never use my iPad that way and find it cumbersome and inconvenient. I wish the developers would add the option for portrait mode. Then I would give it 5 Stars.
Portfolio Performance Update Makes App Worse
As other users have already noted, the latest update to the app makes the process of extracting portfolio performance considerably less user friendly. It now takes more clicks to get less information. The previous version of this functionality was far from ideal (several implementations that offer superior customer experience are available in apps from competing providers), but at least I only had to tap once to see financial data for other periods.
Rate of return is ultimately the most important data point for a user of this service and now it’s much harder to calculate.
Work in progress
Latest update puts a goals section between your account totals and your accounts. Why isn’t it below? The goal item isn’t something you’d even use often yet it was put higher than the accounts.
Need to be able to see trading information on my accounts. I can’t see my open limit orders. Also, tax lots are in the wrong order. Short term section appears before long term- but when you open up the sections the lots are then oldest to newest. Not very consistent. Brokerage positions can’t be viewed together- you have to pick a category.
