Description

Keep your snake's vital information recorded with this bespoke custom written application for snake owners everywhere. Keep track of your snake's feeding, weight and shedding cycles and review the statistical information whenever and wherever you are.

View your snake's recent weight and feeding information on the 'My Snakes' screen along with thumbnail picture . Any feeding period's that have elapsed are highlighted in red so you can instantly see if a scheduled feeding date has been missed.

SnakeKeeper allows you to record successful and unsuccessful feeding attempts which is useful for reference if your pet annually goes through food rejection phases. Store information on the prey type fed to the snake and its weight.

Feeding, weight, length and shedding information is grouped and displayed in an easy to read and navigate format.

Use the inbuilt reminder assistant to calculate the next feeding date and set an alarm with a few simple button presses. Configure and update your snake's feed period as it becomes older and the reminder assistant will update accordingly.

If you have a new hatchling snake then SnakeKeeper will provide to be an invaluable tool in the tracking and maintenance of your new pet.

Does what I need it to do

It’s a good app, zero functionality problems so far. Mostly just cosmetic, and maybe a bit more customisability would be nice. Pros, the reminders and tracking is really great. Functions great, no crashes, you can add pics, and it does what other apps don’t do: keep it simple. Cons, I wish I could put in info about clutches, or when I last cleaned their tank. Currently gotta use the note feature. And maybe a bulk feeding option would be great; when you have 13 snakes it gets a little annoying to go through each one to select everything and add prey. A repeat last food option would be cool too. And, more of a personal preference, add different species too like lizards or a custom reptile option.

Overpriced but Okay

I purchased the full version of this app to use for my larger collection of snakes, It is very Helpful for keeping a steady feeding schedule along with a log of sheds, poops, and weights/lengths, but it needs some work/improvements and it’s not quite worth the couple dollars you pay for it, 99c would be more fair.
I do enjoy the app and I’ll continue to use it. I would really like to see it be improved and maybe a little bit easier to use.

Love this app for my bp!

This app is invaluable for those who want to keep careful track of their snake! I found this app not long after I got my hatching ball python, and its been so helpful to me over the past year. My only wish is that I could save all my data to the cloud. I might be getting a new phone soon and it makes me sad to think I can't carry all this data over to my next phone.

Those of you rating this less than 5 stars because it's not as helpful for other reptiles are being quite rude, as this app is called SNAKEkeeper! It has a snake on the app icon! Why would you rate it based on its usefulness for skinks, geckos, or anything that isn't a snake?
